The selection of fresh ingredients for breakfast was excellent, particularly the locally sourced produce.
The rustic doors could be quite noisy at times, which may disrupt the peace during the night.

The staff was incredibly attentive, so I would come back for sure. It was a stunningly beautiful and absolutely fantastic hotel in a pretty comfortable area, near to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway which runs steam engines, 4 fast charging points in the main car park and many restaurant choices. The room was spotless with nicely cooked breakfast, and I slept very well.

The stone cottage vibe is really charming, and the decor adds a cozy touch to the stay. The breakfast using locally sourced ingredients was excellent, especially the fresh produce served up each morning.
The bathroom was quite snug, and the rustic doors didn't fit well, which led to noise from adjoining rooms. This made it difficult to fully relax after a long day. For the price, a bit more space and sound insulation would have been ideal.

I was almost impressed by this charming place, but hearing every little noise from the other room definitely made it hard to relax. The so-called rustic doors were quite bothersome. I expected a complimentary breakfast for my troubles, but apparently that's too much to ask. Just couldn't justify a higher rating, despite the cute farmhouse vibe.

Charming decor with a nice breakfast experience.
The bathroom was snug and could barely accommodate movement. The rustic doors were quite bothersome, as they did not fit properly and allowed too much noise from the adjoining room. This undermined the otherwise tranquil atmosphere I was hoping to enjoy, leaving my stay less peaceful than expected.

Family with children, highly recommend
The stone cottage was fine, well-furnished, and super clean. The large bed was a dream, my wife especially loved the window seat!
It wasn't exactly a budget find, but worth every penny.
